According to set criteria, the Donors Forum recognizes three types of participants: 1) full members, 2) associate members, 3) partnership members.

Full members are:

Organizations created particularly for long-term philanthropic and/or social programs and which meet all criteria for participation in the Donors Forum.
Associate members are:    

1.    Organizations created particularly for long-tern philanthropic and/or social programs and which meet the Donors Forum’s criteria 1 through 6;
      or
2.    Russian and foreign companies which have clear philanthropic goals and projects and which directly indicate these goals and projects in their budget, as well as meeting criteria 3 through 6;
      or
3.    Member organizations, which unite at least three members (individual and/or legal entity), and whose activities, in sum, meet all criteria.

Partnership members are:

Organizations or private individuals, which coordinate philanthropic programs, provide technical support or express interest in developing such services, but do not fit under any other category.

CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION:

1. One of the organization’s goals and fundamental activities is grant-making;
2. Organization allocates owned resources and functions independently, especially regarding grant distribution;
3. Organization agrees to communicate, in a timely fashion, important information affecting its grant-making program with other Donors Forum participants;
4. Organization pledges adherence to the Donors Forum’s Ethical Code;
5. Upon entrance, organization agrees to support the Donors Forum, in accordance to its membership status;
6. Organization gives grants no less than one year;
7. Organization annually distributes no less than $100,000 (USD) to 10 grant-recipients in Russia, selected through open and fair deliberation;
8. Organization distributes grants to recipients, located in at least five regions of the Russian Federation.
