Olga Alekseeva was a masterpiece of philanthropy for each person, who had any relation to it. On the 20th of July Olga Petrovna went to a better world.

All words seem to be hollow and unsuitable. It’s impossible to imagine, that we lost her. We make sure, that anyone, who has to do with philanthropy, knew Olga . She believed in philanthropy. It was she, who said about impossibility of civil society creation right to President’s face; it was she, who brought the first delegation of foreign donors to Russia for meeting with Vice-premier; from her we got to know about private donations and endowments; it was she, who thought up local communities funds creation in Russia; she convinced every person, that impossible is nothing. It was she, who could puzzle oligarchs-beginners by stories about children’s homes: “Could you imagine Young Pioneer camp, that you’ll never be picked-up?” You had an impression, that Olga knew philanthropists’ inclinations for philanthropy better than they. She had been developed philanthropy in Russia during all her life. She believed in Russian philanthropy. She was Russian philanthropy itself. She left, but showed us by personal example, how and what we are able to do. And we shall follow.
