The Deloitte Foundation is a not-for-profit organization created to focus the firm’s efforts on our social and charitable activities in the CIS. As a part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda, we are committed to expanding our contribution to the sustainable development of our community. One means to achieve this is to recruit a coordinator, who would focus on advancing the existing initiatives of the Deloitte Foundation.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with our Internal Communications function to raise awareness and increase involvement in the Deloitte Foundation: — prepare communications on activities (foundation strategy, fundraising events, volunteering initiatives, etc.) using internal communication channels — present to the team and management on the Foundations activities — monitor charity proposals and requests from Deloitte employees
  • Work with our PR function to promote our activities externally: — prepare communications on activities and news for the external website, our Facebook page, etc. — determine media to target for Foundation news — ensure the Foundation is represented at relevant round tables, conferences and related events — ensure the Foundation’s activities are communicated regularly to external stakeholders
  • Work with our Events function to: — organize corporate fundraising events and community days — determine events (organized by charities and other organizations) which Deloitte employees can support or participate
  • Relationship management: — help to manage the relationship with our partner charities — review of charities/organizations that we may potentially support — facilitate internal discussions/review of requests — follow-up on requests approved
  • Supporting collections and donations for the Deloitte Foundation: — organize charity boxes in our offices — manage donations (if applicable – simplifying the process) keep track of legal and accounting requirements (in conjunction with Finance and In-House-Legal teams)
  • Organize regular meetings for the Deloitte Foundation team: — arrange meetings — prepare the agenda and keep the minutes — prepare reporting on the Foundation’s activities
  • Prepare regular communications to donors Key requirements
  • Excellent communication skills including business writing (English and Russian) and presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong desire to support the Deloitte community and related activities
  • Experience dealing with charities and organizing events an advantage

Expected working hours: Part time – up to 20 hours per week
